Quality You Can Trust Starts Long Before You Open the Bottle

Quality You Can Trust Starts Long Before You Open the Bottle
When choosing a supplement, the label is important—but it is only one part of the story.

Quality also depends on what happens behind the scenes: how ingredients are sourced and handled, how products are manufactured, which procedures are followed (what standards those procedures are held at), and how the facility is evaluated by both external and internal parties.

Earth’s Splendor and Aurite products are made in a facility that is regularly inspected against recognized manufacturing standards. Here is what those standards mean—and why they matter to you.

What Are cGMPs?

cGMP stands for Current Good Manufacturing Practices.

These regulations and standards address the systems used to manufacture, package, label, test, and hold dietary supplements and food products. They cover areas such as employee practices, facility sanitation, equipment, production controls, quality-control procedures, recordkeeping, and product specifications.

In simple terms, cGMPs help make sure supplements and foods are manufactured through established, documented, and repeatable processes time and time again.

Is the Earth’s Splendor Manufacturing Facility Registered With the FDA?

Yes. Our manufacturing facility, CPC (Contract Pharmacal Corp) is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is subject to FDA inspection.

FDA-registered facilities must allow the agency to inspect their operations in accordance with federal law. Dietary supplement and food product manufacturers must also establish and follow applicable cGMP requirements under 21 CFR Part 111 and 117.

What does this mean for you?

Products are manufactured using established quality systems designed to support:

  • Consistency from batch to batch
  • Controlled manufacturing processes
  • Appropriate facility and equipment sanitation
  • Documented quality-control procedures
  • Accurate packaging and labeling

It is important to understand that FDA registration does not mean that the FDA approves individual products before they are sold. Instead, manufacturers are responsible for meeting applicable regulations, and the FDA oversees the industry through inspections, regulatory requirements, and post-market enforcement.

What Does UL cGMP Certified Mean?

Our facility has been independently inspected and certified by UL Solutions for cGMP compliance.

UL Solutions provides third-party cGMP audit and certification services that evaluate the systems and processes used to manufacture dietary supplements and other consumer products. Its audit process is designed to identify potential areas of nonconformance and verify that appropriate manufacturing and quality systems are in place.

What does this mean for you?

An independent organization evaluates our manufacturing processes against recognized quality requirements.

This additional oversight helps demonstrate that quality procedures are not only established internally—they are also reviewed by an outside auditing organization.

What Does USP cGMP Certified Mean?

Our facility is also inspected and certified by United States Pharmacopeia, commonly known as USP, for cGMP compliance.

USP is a nation-wide establishment that provides independent verification and GMP audit programs for dietary supplement manufacturers. Its programs use a multi-step approach to evaluate whether manufacturers have systems in place to support consistent quality and compliance.

What does this mean for you?

Our manufacturing practices are evaluated against rigorous standards recognized throughout the dietary supplement and food industry.

The review examines the systems behind production—not simply how the finished bottle looks when it reaches the shelf.

Why Does Independent Oversight Matter?

Manufacturers are responsible for creating and following their own quality procedures. Independent inspections provide another level of review.

Third-party auditors examine whether documented procedures are being followed, whether quality systems are functioning as intended, and whether manufacturing practices align with the applicable standard.

For Earth’s Splendor customers, that means greater confidence that quality is built into the manufacturing process from the beginning.

Does Certification Mean Every Product Is the Same?

Every product has its own formula, ingredients, specifications, and manufacturing instructions. However, certified manufacturing systems help ensure that each product is produced using consistent procedures and appropriate controls, no matter the formulation type (powders, capsules, tablets etc.).

These systems can include:

  • Written manufacturing instructions
  • Ingredient and product specifications
  • Equipment and sanitation procedures
  • In-process quality checks
  • Finished-product testing
  • Batch records and documentation
  • Quality-control review and approval
FDA’s dietary supplement and food cGMP regulations require manufacturers to establish specifications and quality-control operations to help ensure that products meet their established requirements and are packaged and labeled according to their manufacturing records.

Why Should Manufacturing Standards Matter When Choosing a Supplement or Food Product?

A product is more than its front-label promise.

Behind every capsule, tablet, softgel, or powder should be a controlled process designed to support consistency and accountability.

Our standards provide:

✓ Established quality systems
✓ Consistent manufacturing practices
✓ Independent third-party oversight
✓ Documented production and testing procedures
✓ More than 50 years of manufacturing expertise

Because feeling confident in your supplements and foods should be simple.

Who Manufactures Earth’s Splendor Supplements?

Earth’s Splendor products are manufactured by our parent company, Contract Pharmacal Corp., at our facility on Long Island, New York. The only exception is our softgels and single ingredient sports nutrition powders (Glutamine and Creatine), which are made at other facilities. Our same high-brand standards apply for our partners, as we strive to bring peace of mind to all our customers when we put our labels on vitamins and supplements: Tested, Trusted, and Transparent.

Our team at CPC brings 55 years of supplement manufacturing expertise to every stage of the process—from formulation and ingredient handling to manufacturing, testing, packaging, and fulfillment.

We are not simply placing our name on a finished product. We are involved in the work that happens long before the bottle reaches your routine.
